The AfroJazz Experience is a journey through the timeless jazzy and soulful sounds that have been woven into today’s musical fabric. Inspired by the tradition of Sunday Jazz sets The AfroJazz Experience takes place in a setting similar to what may be described as a speakeasy and awakens the spirit of Jazz being played in the back rooms of many establishments back in the day. This experience is best served cool while sipping on a handcrafted cocktail and tapping your feet to the sounds of Nina Simone, John Coltrane, Donald Byrd, Fela Kuti, Sergio Mendes, Nicola Conte, Robert Glasper, Louie Vega and many more.

Over the last several years Sean Alvarez has created Mix compilations comprised of traditional and progressive sounds rooted in Jazz terming the sound and compilations “AfroJazz”. Within the scope of the AfroJazz sound is traditional Jazz, NuJazz, Brazilian Bossa Nova, Afrobeat, 70s Soul Jazz, Deep Jazzy House Music, Jazz Fusion and more. Join us once per month (Every 4th Sunday) as we give you a taste of nostalgia while expressing vintage and new sounds of creativity, freedom, and life.

Experience the awakening of cool...
